The bamboo matcha tea ceremony whisk and scoops set includes a 7-inch bamboo scoop for dishing out matcha powder, a bamboo teaspoon measuring 7-1/8 inches x 1-1/4 inches, and a bamboo whisk measuring 4-1/4 x 2-3/8 inches. The traditional 7-inch Chashaku bamboo tea scoop is used for Matcha powder. The bamboo tea spoon measures 7-1/8 inches long and 1-1/4 inches wide.
The 100-prong bamboo whisk was split from a single piece of golden bamboo and handmade. It measures 2-3/8 inches in diameter and 4-1/4 inches in height.
When caring for the Matcha whisk, it is essential to examine the Chasen before each use. If any broken tines are found, they should be removed before whisking. After each use, the whisk should be rinsed thoroughly, patted dry, and placed on the whisk holder.
